Our Services

At Daisy Chain, our small group sessions are designed to provide a meaningful balance of cognitive engagement, social connection, and emotional reassurance. Each group is limited to a maximum of 4 participants, allowing for a calm, focused atmosphere where every voice is heard and every individual is seen.

 

What Makes Our Groups Special:

  • Led by Caz, a dementia specialist with lived experience.

  • Person-centred approach, we tailor everything to the individual.

  • Thoughtfully structured activities that adapt to the needs and pace of the group.

  • A gentle focus on memory recall, conversation, and communication skills.

  • Activities that support confidence, independence, and joy.

  • Emphasis on social bonding to reduce isolation and build trust.

 

Types of Activities Include:

  • Reminiscence games and themed memory prompts.

  • Light movement or sensory-based tasks.

  • Creative or hands-on activities.

  • Group conversations guided by supportive topics.

 

Session Details:

  • Small group size (max 4 people).

  • Calm, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

  • All materials provided.

  • 4 hours (9:30am-1:30pm OR 2:30pm-6:30pm) Monday - Thursday

  • £130 per session (includes tea/coffee biscuits and cake. Recommended to bring lunch boxes for afternoon sessions)

Daisy Chain works with a number of other organisations and agencies, all with the same understanding that dementia support is so much more than just physical. 

​

All our sessions take place at Monks Yard in Illminster, Somerset.

​

Limited 1:1 support sessions available for individuals needing tailored care

Ideal For:

  • Individuals preferring one-on-one interaction

  • Specific cognitive/emotional needs

  • Not ready for group settings 

​

These sessions are delivered by Caz at £30 per hour, there is limited availability and will done on a case by case basis. If you're unsure what service is best, please get in touch with us.
